Venus and Jupiter Conjunction

This is a random post I know, but what the hell. I tried to capture the recent Jupiter/Venus conjunction with mixed results. I only got 5 images before the clouds rolled in and obscured the entire sky for the rest of the evening. However with some help from the internet on photo-stacking and Photoshop I was able to salvage the experiment with OK results.

If you’re looking for some alternative travel images you might look into ‘Astrophotography’ it can create some really beautiful photos that you would not normally think to try. It does require some Photoshop skills to stack, filter the unwanted, and enhance the wanted. There is a ton of information on Astrophotography on the interwebs, a simple Google search will give you hours, if not days, of research. I can guarantee, you will have unique images that the average traveler photog will not.
