My new inclinometer
I found this old inclinometer at an antique shop in Austin. Solid brass with a crystal bezel for a whopping $15, SOLD! I’ve been putting off mounting it because it requires me to drill screw holes into the cabin’s beautiful woodwork, something I loathe to do. However, now that it’s mounted I think it looks pretty damn awesome!!
I’m calling it my “Rum Level”.
Normally you’d mount this in the cockpit to gauge the boat’s roll angle. The one is a reference for me when I get back to the boat after one too many rums. “Rum Level” 🙂
Cheers,
Todd
