I’m super excited about the idea of making landfall at an island less traveled and hunting for or establishing a geocache. For some people it may seem like a random thing to do but for me it’s an opportunity to communicate with other travelers regardless of time. If you’re not familiar with geocaching someone places a small container with a log book and maybe a trinket in it, this is called a cache. Then they add it to the database at the
Geocaching website so other people can try to find it. If you’re already going on a hike you might as well add scavenger hunt to the trip.
